LIVE ALBUM from "MTV Unplugged" in August 2019! MTV Unplugged session including solo and Oasis songs by Manchester, UK's proud rock and roll star, Liam Gallagher! This is a traditional MTV acoustic show, and Oasis has only appeared on the show once before. It was scheduled for August 23, 1996 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, during the band's heyday when they were beginning to climb the charts in the U.S. after the release of "Morning Glory," which sold over 25 million copies worldwide. However, Liam cancelled his appearance at the last minute due to a throat complaint. Ironically, the performance in Liam's absence was highly acclaimed. It is not too much to say that this performance was the first time in 23 years for Liam to make up for his absence, and it was such a wonderful performance.
