The original story "Konohana Kitan" by Sakiya Amano is serialized in "Monthly Birds" (published by Gentosha Comics). This is a mysterious and moving tale about six foxy waitresses who work at the Konohana-tei, a hot spring inn between this world and the afterlife. The pure and cute characters, the soft and beautiful world, and the clean and happy ending of the story will surely be a healing experience for the audience! The reliable staff creates beautiful and cute images! The director is Hideki Okamoto, who has honed his directing skills through numerous productions. Script and series composition by Taka Yoshioka, a highly acclaimed writer in a variety of genres, adds depth to the work with scenarios that can express even the smallest emotional swings. Character design is by up-and-coming character designer Keiko Kurosawa! Animation production will be handled by animation studio L'Arche, which has produced a number of high-profile productions, creating beautiful and memorable images! The young voice actors who will grow through this film are also noteworthy!The lead role of Yuzu is played by Yuzuko Ono! In addition to the fresh lineup of Sawako Hata and Risa Kubota, the main cast includes popular young voice actors such as Ayaka Suwa, Ai Kuma, and Aimi Numakura. The voice cast will grow through this work, just like Yuzu and her friends who grow while working as waitresses! The DVD also includes a special bonus video and audio commentary, including the live-action video "Kitsukko-Musume-tachi no Omotenashi" starring the main cast!
