The album also features the double bass player Kazuhiro Tanabe, who is active in classical music, Argentine tango, and improvisation, making it a truly borderless album. The program includes Purcell's "Solitude," Carlos Gardel's "The Day My Thoughts Arrive," Richard Rodgers' "My Favorite," Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion," Ariel Ramirez's "Alfonsina and the Sea," Jose Lacalle's "Amapola," Francis Poulenc's "Love's Path," and others. The program will feature Hatano's own favorite songs, such as "Oblivion", "Alfonsina and the Sea" by Ariel Ramirez, "Amapola" by José Lacalle, and "Love Lane" by Francis Poulenc. Mutsumi Hatano graduated from Trinity College of Music in London with a major in vocal performance.After making her debut with English lute songs of Shakespeare's time, she has performed Passions and oratorios as a soloist with many Baroque orchestras, including those conducted by Ryo Terakobe, Masaaki Suzuki, and C. Hogwood. She has also attracted attention for her deep expressiveness in baroque opera. He has also worked on contemporary works with the composer's deep trust, and has performed in the world premiere of Yoshio Mamiya's work in the United States, the opera "Popoi", "Portrait of Yuji Takahashi" at Art Tower Mito, "Composers' Exhibition 2013 Atsuhiko Gondai" at Suntory Hall, "Jack Body: Songs and Dances of Death and Desire" at Summer Festival 2016, and others. He has also appeared in the "Song Transformation" series. He has continued the "Song Transformation" series at Oji Hall since 2005, and has pioneered a unique program of songs from ancient to contemporary music, appearing on NHK's "New Year Opera Concert," "Masterpiece Album," "BS Classic Club," "Untitled Concert," etc. His CDs include "Italian Songs" with ancient instruments ("Record Geijutsu Tokusen"). Satoshi Kitamura (bandoneon) Satoshi Kitamura first encountered the bandoneon while a student at Kansai University, where he studied with Ryota Komatsu and Julio Panet. In 2011, he was selected for the Asian team of Pablo Sigler, former pianist of the Astor Piazzolla Quintet. 2014, he performed in the Tokyo Opera City Recital Series B to C. In 2021, he participated in the Japan premiere of Piazzolla's "Sinfonia Buenos Aires". In 2021, he will participate in the Japan premiere of Piazzolla's Sinfonia Buenos Aires. He has performed with Daisuke Suzuki, Izumi Tateno, Ikuko Kawai, EGO-WRAPPIN', Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and has participated in various recordings including NHK's "Blue Sky" and the film "Masquerade Night".
