Cassadoche, Perlemuterre Rare 2-Disc Set This 2-disc set collects the first concerto recordings by Robert Cassadoche, born in Paris in 1899 to a Catalan musical family, and Perlemuterre, born in Kovno, Poland, in 1904. Both recordings are in the 50s, a period of their active careers. Perlmuter is especially known for his Ravel and Chopin recordings, but the Mozart and Beethoven recordings here are also outstanding for their limpid touch and delicate expression. King International
