Formed in 1977 by the late Gunnar Graps (dr/vo), one of the pioneers of the old USSSA/Estonian Hard Rock scene, the band has been active mainly at live shows until the mid-80's. The band has developed into one of the top bands of the old USSSA Rock scene, the GUNNAR GRAPS GROUP. The band was formed in 1977 with a focus on live performances and remained active until the mid-80's, becoming one of the top bands in the old USSSA Rock scene. Disc 1 contains studio recordings from 1977~1980s, including 'Äriasjad', a 7" single released on Мелодия(Melodiya) in 1980, and unreleased songs.Unlike the career of the late Gunnar Graps and his later blues/hard rock style, which was thought to be the successor of the leader band ORNAMENT before the formation of this band, the band's music was mainly blues and hard rock, but it also included songs from the '80 Single album and songs by IN SPE/KASEKE/RADOR/RUJA/SYNOPSIS and other bands that represented the Estonia Rock scene in the 70s/80s. SYNOPSIS, etc., who represented the Estonia Rock scene in the 70's and 80's. The album contains more diverse and technical music influenced by jazz rock, crossover, and funk of the same period. Including Disc 2, which contains a live recording from 1977 that is also valuable as a document, this compilation is a must-have and must-listen for fans of Eastern European music, and provides a look at the little-known history of a band that had a great popularity and influence not only on Estonia, but also on the old USSA Rock scene! The mastering was done by Priit Kuulberg of RUJA, who was also a member of the band, and includes new biographies in both Estonian and English.
