This is the ninth collection of the Rolling Stones' epic project to record all of their recordings. The Stones have been released in a chaotic order in the U.K. and the U.S., making it difficult to ascertain the exact order in which they were released. This series follows the Stones in chronological order of their recordings, including outtakes and previously unreleased tracks, to provide a deeper understanding of their history. This ninth collection covers the second half of the November 1966 sessions for the album "Between the Buttons" until the summer of 1967, when the band was hit by a drug epidemic and parted company with their manager, Andrew Oldham, to begin work on "Satanic Majesties. The Stones, who had broken away from being a blues band and had hit after hit after hit, were at their best with "Let's Spend The Night Together" and "Ruby Tuesday". Brian Jones opens his eyes as a multi-instrumentalist and establishes the sound of the mid-period Stones with his next album, "Between The Buttons".The Stones were reaching their musical peak, but then Mick, Keith, and Brian were arrested for drug possession in rapid succession. The press heated up, wondering if the delinquent band were criminals. In the midst of this predicament, the Stones produced "We Love You" with the support and cooperation of the Beatles, etc. This is the ninth collection of the Stones' recordings in chronological order as they entered the turbulent 60s. Detailed liner notes in Japanese, including the conditions of the time, episodes, and song titles, are included in the "ROCK OFF" series from Eternal Grooves!
