Description:

Masahiko Okura is a reed player and composer who has been active since the 1990s and has released several solo and collaborative albums on Ftarri's sister labels (Hitorri / Meenna). Naoto Yamasoke is a percussionist who lived in Europe for several years in the 2010s and has since been active both in Japan and abroad, frequently touring abroad and organizing performances of foreign musicians in Japan. Fumi Endo is a pianist who has been gaining recognition in the jazz and improvised music scene in Japan in recent years for her highly individualistic playing. These three Tokyo-based musicians will perform together at Tokyo Ftarri on January 4, 2022. The 22- and 29-minute pieces include two improvisational pieces, each with a beautifully bewitching fusion of sounds from the three musicians that will captivate the audience! (C)RS
