Vincent Ho is an internationally acclaimed composer who has received a Juno nomination and numerous composition awards, and whose works have been described by The New York Times as "vivid and engaging. "From 2007 to 2014, Ho was Composer-in-Residence of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, His works, including "The Shaman" for Dame Evelyn Glennie, have received rave reviews in many parts of the world. The Twelve Zodiac Signs is a two-volume collection composed as a gift for his then 8-year-old daughter. The first volume presents the animals as fascinating musical caricatures, while the second volume is a collection of preludes and fugues for more advanced pianists. Performed by Eike Tony Yang, who was born in China and raised in Toronto. He gained international fame in 2015 when, at the young age of 16, he became the youngest winner (5th prize) in the history of the Chopin Competition. He is currently studying at the Hanover University of Music and Drama under Professor Arieh Vardi and was named "One to Watch" by Scala Radio in the UK. Naxos Japan
