Description:
The best of Italian polyphony that flourished in the north, interpreted by the best Italian vocal groups] The masters of the Netherland (equivalent to the three Benelux countries and their vicinity today), who supported the heyday of polyphonic music in various parts of Europe, were inspired by Italian composers in the late 16th century and published a selection of Italian-language polyphony = madrigale in their home country of the Netherland. The selection of Italian-language Madrigale published in the late 16th century in the Netherland under the inspiration of Italian composers. All of the works, including those by Italian-based composers such as De Macke of Naples, A. Gabrieli of Venice, and Marenzio of Rome, were published in Antwerpen, the cultural center of the region (except for one piece by Ferdonk, published in 1603, which was published in 1580). All of the songs, including those by the composers, were published in Antwerpen, the cultural center of the region (except one by Feldonck, published in 1603; track 7), and all of the lyrics are in Italian, indicating the exciting cultural activities that took place in the north and south of Europe, despite the upheavals of the Dutch War of Independence. Composers such as Cornet and Feldonk, whose works are rarely presented, are also interesting, and their meticulous polyphony and subtlety in creating sounds that make the most of the lyrics can be fully appreciated. The performance was by La Compagnia del Madrigale, an up-and-coming group that includes many members of the famous Italian group La Venesiana, whose activities were sadly suspended due to the premature death of its music director. As is usual with the Musique en Wallonie label, the booklet is full of information, including many beautiful illustrations (Italian lyrics, French, English, Dutch, and German lyrics translation and commentary). lyrics in Italian, French, English, Dutch, and German).
