Argerich and Friends 2021 Live, last performance recorded by Angelisch] Organized by the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Martha Argerich Music Festival has been held in Reiss Halle since 2018; although the 2020 event was not held due to the Corona disaster (instead a live, audience-free delivery with Renaud Capuçon, who performed Chopin's Third Sonata during their performance together, which made a big splash), the successfully held 2021 live box is now available, following the 2018 and 2019 editions. The 2021 live box will be followed in 2018 and 2019 by another splendid lineup of big-name artists, including Mendelssohn with Mutter and Argerich, who are performing together for the first time, plus Maisky, and a duet by Pires (Piresch) and Argerich, also for the first time, that is full of depth. Mozart, which was also the first time they performed together. It is also noteworthy that the last public performance of Angelisch, who died in 2022, was an emotionally rich Brahms with Cosset, which is included here.Other performances by Papavlami, Knyazev, Kremer, Bojanov, Zilberstein, and Akiko Suwanai are also included, and the concerto is performed with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra conducted by Cambourin.
