This is the first collection in a series of systematic releases of works by Melbourne-based Linda Kvaras. She is currently studying Australian music and gender issues at the University of Melbourne's Conservatorium of Music, and has won several publishing awards for her published work. She is also highly acclaimed for her genre-melding work, which is typical of her devotion to punk and new wave in her youth. This album includes four piano pieces influenced by the works of Franz Liszt and French Impressionists, "Evening Pieces" for saxophone and piano, which explores the impact of the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection on people, and a collection of songs related to women's issues, which is also the subject of her research.
