This third release on the DACAPO label features two orchestral works written in the 2010s by Danish composer Thomas Ajafert Olesen, who studied under Paul Ruders and Carl Rasmussen. Where the Wind Blows," which depicts a scene of a desolate landscape changing from moment to moment as various instruments sing together thoughtfully, and the cello concerto dedicated to the memory of Olesen's late mother, with the virtuoso Johannes Moser as the soloist.
