A collection of Reger's string trios by Il Flibondo, a trio formed in 2011. The trio has performed with the old music ensembles Il Giardino Almonoco and Le Conseil des Nations, and their repertoire covers a wide range of works from the Baroque to the first half of the 20th century. The ensemble's name "Il Furibondo" means "wild, angry, hot-blooded" in Italian, an adjective that Tartini once used to describe the performances of the great violinist Geminiani. As the name suggests, the band has quickly emerged as a force to be reckoned with for its innovative and outstanding interpretations, and has been highly acclaimed for its performances on radio and in concert halls throughout Europe.
