Alberto Ferro, a young Italian who was just 19 years old at the time, was the focus of attention at the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in 2016. His result at that competition was sixth place, but the following year he won first prize and the audience prize at the Bonn Telecom Beethoven International Competition. His choice for the final of the 2016 Queen Elisabeth Competition was Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 1 (included in QEC2016). This debut album is also a winner with Rachmaninoff, to which he has strong feelings. With his strong string playing and overflowing singing spirit, he delivers the beauty of Rachmaninoff's music in abundance. Naxos Japan
