Description:
Tomás Marco, composer, was born in Spain in 1942. A man of versatility, he studied law in Madrid while also studying music (composition and violin), studied in France under the greats of contemporary music, Boulez and Maderna, and worked as an assistant to Stockhausen in Germany. His policy is to deconstruct reality, reconstruct it, and transform it into a work of art, and the works on this album are also unique in their Latin rhythms and curious sequence of sounds. The piece entitled "Sonata de Madrid" and the "Toccata," which seems to be a jumbled array of sounds, are a delight to listen to. Naxos Japan
