The coupling song is the debut song by the charismatic idols of the Showa era, Shoujo-tai, and was arranged and recorded by producer Shokichi Ishida after music critic Suzy Suzuki asked the Machida Girls Choir to sing this difficult song composed by Shunichi Tokura on the program. This is the most powerful cover single with ironclad harmonies. The song "Mamoruete Aetai" is a well-known Japanese pop song, and Machiga's angelic harmony is the essence of this bold choral arrangement.
