TRANCE, one of the original three German metal bands that followed Scorpions and Accept in the 80's, has released two early masterpieces in paperback for the first time in Japan! TRANCE, the oldest German metal band in Japan, started their activities in 1979, and despite some twists and turns along the way, they are still active today, 45 years after their formation, with early members Marcus Berger (g) and Thomas Klein (b) at the core of the band. Infusion"), two of TRANCE's earliest works, are being released for the first time here in Japan. In 1974, Lothar Antoni (vo) and Marcus met as students and started playing together as a band, forming the predecessor band AGE in 1978. The following year, in 1979, the band changed its name to TRANCE, and in 1980, Thomas joined the band. Following the release of a single disc in 1981, the band started recording "Break Out" in December of the same year, and released it in 1982.The metal ballad "Loser" from this album, which lasted over 7 minutes, became an unexpected first European hit for the band and the label, and became an "overnight sensation" that led to a major tour in Benelux and Germany in early 1982. The band's signature singer and guitarist, Lothar's melancholy vocals and dramatic songs made this first album a masterpiece that was compared to their predecessor, SCORPIONS, and recorded explosive sales in the import market not only in Germany but also in Japan at the time. This paper jacket release has been remastered by current member Neudi and includes two rare single tracks as bonus tracks. The booklet has also been redesigned, and the album will finally be released in Japan in 2025, the year of Lothar's death. Includes a bonus track for the Japanese edition, detailed liner notes including an interview with Marcus Berger, and lyrics and translations.
