VIOLET ETERNAL is a new project by guitarist JienTakahashi (Jien Takahashi), who made his name with his own project MAJUSTICE "Ancestral Recall" released in March 2023. Jien's chosen partner to embody his idea of "ultimate melodic metal" is Ivan Giannini, vocalist of VISION DIVINE and DERDIAN!The album, titled "Reload The Violet", is a powerful collection of songs that combine Ivan's emotional and powerful vocals, Jien's dramatic songs, and neo-classical and technical guitars. In addition to producing the songs, Jien also created the album's artwork, which is a perfect example of the band's worldview.The album is sound produced by Dennis Ward, who has worked with HELLOWEEN and ANGRA and is now a major producer, taking the quality of the album to the extreme! The album also features Ollie Bernstein (b), keyboard player for ILLUSION FORCE and ex-DERDIAN, who also plays in Marco Garau's MAGIC OPERA, and Andrea Cappellari, former guitarist for SKELETOON and currently playing in NEKOMATA. Andrea Cappellari, formerly of SKELETOON and currently of NEKOMATA, will join the band as guests, along with Takao (g) and YUHKI (key) from MINSTRELIX. This is the ultimate melodic metal album, further evolving the melodic power metal full of neoclassical elements that was presented on MAJUSTICE.The Japanese version, which will be released first worldwide, also includes an alternate version of "Now and Forever"! The keyboards have been eliminated to the extreme, and the shredded guitar of Andrea Cappellari of NEKOMATA, who participates as a guest guitarist, can be enjoyed throughout this version! The young guitar hero Jien Takahashi and the charismatic vocalist Ivan Giannini, two Japanese-Italian heroes who will be the saviors of the metal world, have unleashed a masterpiece that will move the scene!
