RIOT CITY's debut album, the flagship of Canadian traditional heavy metal, will be released on short notice as a commemorative edition in Japan! RIOT CITY, a NWOTHM (New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal) band formed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, released their second album "Electric Elite" on Rubicon Music in late 2022. The band's second album, "Electric Elite," was released at the end of 2022 and created a sensation among metal fans around the world and here in Japan. In February 2024, the band will perform in Japan for the first time in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka! To celebrate, their debut album "Burn the Night" will be released in a limited numbered edition! The second album brought in a full-time vocalist, Jordan Jacobs, whose voice is superb, but this first album features the band's core guitarist, Cale Savy, who also sings on vocals. His voice is a high tone screaming style that perfectly matches RIOT CITY's music.Members include Cale Savy, a member since the band's inception in 2011, Roldan Reimer, another guitarist, Dustin Smith on bass, and drummer Chad Valier (the current drummer is Jake Gracie, who has been with the band since 2022).This debut album is full of intense numbers that are a must for heavy metal fans to headbang to! The opening songs "Warrior Of Time" to "Burn The Night" will capture the hearts of metallers! RIOT CITY is a modern times heavy metal band that stands shoulder to shoulder with ENFORCER, EVIL INVADER, SKULL FIST, and others that form the core of today's young metal bands. The band has also included "We Will Howl" from the demo cassette released in 2014 under the title "Livin' Fast" as a special Japan commemorative bonus track, which was not included on either their first or second album! Includes a limited serial number, liner, lyrics, and bilingual commentary by Nobuo "Veppy" Beppu.
