Pavement

The soundtrack to the band's biographical film "Pavements" by Pavements is now available on CD/LP! Pavements is a legendary band in the U.S. alternative and lo-fi scene, and has a large number of fans in Japan as well as around the world. With the recent announcement of the biographical film "Pavements," fans have been wondering what is going to happen with the band, and Matador Records has released the soundtrack to the film. Pavements, consisting of Mark Ibold, Spiral Stairs (Scott Kamberg), Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich, and Steve West, is one of the most beloved bands to emerge from the American underground in the 1990s and has released the soundtrack to the film on Matador Records. Slanted & Enchanted (1992), Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994), Wowee Zowee (1995), Brighten The Corners (1997), Terror Twilight (1999) The band released five era-defining albums and disbanded in 1999. Pavement reunited in 2022, headlining Primavera Sound and playing sold-out multi-night shows in Los Angeles, New York, and London; in 2023, they toured Japan for the first time in 13 years, playing two shows in Tokyo and one in Osaka. It is hard to believe, but here we are at last. Sold-out reunion shows, gold discs, and a critically acclaimed feature film. The treasures from Stockton, California, are back on the throne. But many still wonder, "Who the hell are they?" Many are still wondering, "Who the hell are they? The soundtrack for the film "Pavements" was compiled by producer/editor Robert Greene and the band, bringing together various elements of the film - snippets of dialogue, scenes from the Academy Award-winning fake biopic "Range Life," cast recordings from the jukebox musical "Slanted! Enchanted!" musical, as well as live and rehearsal material from the 2021 reunion tour. The full band performance was mixed by Bryce Goggin, the man behind such Pavement classics as Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain, Wowee Zowee, and Brighten the Corners.
