Agnes Chan will celebrate the 50th anniversary of her debut in Japan in 2022. 1980 original album "MESSAGE" will be reissued in 2022 with the latest remastered sound sources and a paper jacket that faithfully reproduces the original record! This is the first time the album has been released on CD. In 1979, the year before the release of this album, Agnes Chan released her first Cantonese album "Amenakasuno Kaoru", and in Japan, she was active in releasing "ABC AGNES" and "Beautiful Days", starting with "AGNES IN WONDERLAND", a collaboration album with Godaigo. On the other hand, this work was quietly released in the midst of the Japanese music scene in 1980, which was becoming more and more vibrant with the retirement of Momoe Yamaguchi, the breakup of Pink Lady, the YMO boom, and the debut of Seiko Matsuda and Toshihiko Tahara, and signs of a new idol boom in the corner of the new music scene that flourished in the 70s. This work was released quietly in the midst of the increasingly active Japanese music scene in 1980. (C)RS
