Their formation dates back to 2000, and they made their album debut in 2005 with "Primal Exhale". In the 10's, the band signed a contract with Scarlett Records of Italy, a leading European power metal label. Their albums "Dream Alive" (2005) and "Emotions" (2007) have been very popular here in Japan. Now, Excarion is releasing a new album "Once Upon a Time," their first new album in four years. The band boldly states, "What we want to do is not to reinvent the wheel, but to spin the wheel in the best possible way.In other words, they put their heart and soul into playing the best good old melodic power metal, rather than inventing something new. Naturally, this time around, the band is again packed with keyboard-laden melodic finish power metal.
