Lucifer is a hard rock band led by Johanna, a bewitching female vocalist formerly of The Oath, and Nikke from The Hellacopters and Imperial State Electric. Lucifer is a hard rock band formed by Johanna, a former female vocalist of The Oath. The Hellacopters and Imperial State Electric's Nikke joined the band, and the new album is their fourth and fifth album in total! A dense rock 'n' roll album that concentrates all the elements of rock! The Oath was formed in 2012 by Johanna Sadonis, a bewitching German female singer, and Linea Olsson, a Swedish female guitarist. Unfortunately, the band disbanded in 2014 after one album, but the vocalist Johanna formed a new band, Lucifer, with Andrew Prestidge, the drummer of The Oath and a member of ANGEL WITCH.When the band signed with Rise Above, presided over by ex-Cathedral member Lee Dorian, and began preparing to make an album, ex-Cathedral guitarist Garry Jennings joined the band and released their debut album "Lucifer" in June 2015, followed by their first Japan tour in the following year, 2016. After that, they renewed their label, Garry left, Nikke from The Hellacopters and Imperial State Electric blitzed in as drummer, Robin from Saturn, who accompanied them on their first Japan tour, joined as guitarist, and released their second album "Lucifer II" in 2018, In March 2020, the third album "Lucifer III" was released, with Linus and Martin, who accompanied the band on their second visit to Japan, joining the band. In October 2021, they released their fourth album, "Lucifer IV". Despite the restrictions placed on their activities due to the Corona Disaster, the band remained active and released their fifth album, "Lucifer V," in 2024.
