From Sweden! Lethal Weapon of Melodeath, The Halo Effect is coming! The new band, which consists of members who were previously involved with In Flames, makes its shocking debut. The debut album of this new band, featuring members formerly associated with In Flames, is the shocking debut of the Yetepoli melodic death metal band. In Flames is the pinnacle of the melodic death metal scene, and has created a buzz by introducing lyrical melody lines into aggressive death metal. In the year 2020, when the world is forced to stagnate in the midst of a new coronavirus pandemic, five old friends come together to form the band "The Halo Effect" and release their debut album "Days of the Lost". They put into action an idea that had been brewing for a long time. Their goal with this album was to pursue the atmosphere of the early 90's, when they started their music. The album is composed of 10 songs that are filled with the idea of the revival of Yetepoli melodic death metal. The Japanese version of the album includes a bonus track specially prepared by the band for Japan.Matthew Heaphy of TRIVIUM joins the group on the ninth track. The members are Jesper Stromblad (guitar), founder of IN FLAMES and a member of the band from their debut album "Lunar Strain" to their 9th album "Sense of Purpose"; Peter Iwers (bass), a member of the band from their first tour in Japan in 1998 and a member of the band from their 4th album "Colony Peter Iwers (bass), who was in the band from the 4th album "Colony" to the 12th album "Battles", Daniel Svensson (drums), who was in the band from the 4th album "Colony" to the 11th album "Siren Charms", who joined the band in 1998, and Daniel Svensson (drums), who joined the band in 1998. Niclas Engelin (guitar), who joined the band in 2011 after leaving Jesper and played in the band's 13th album "I, The Mask", and Mikael Stanne, who played in the band's debut album "Lunar Strain" and is currently a member of Dark Tranquility.
