Al Cooper is a keyboardist, composer, producer, and singer/songwriter who has worked with groups such as the Blues Project and Blood, Sweat and Tears. Al Cooper made his solo debut in 1969 with "I Stand Alone," and his second album was released shortly thereafter. The eclectic sound of rock, jazz, R&B/soul, and pop music, which was also featured on the previous album, is further evolved by the top-notch players such as Bernard Purdie, Chuck Rainey, Jerry Gemmott, and Eric Gale, backed up by arrangements by master musician Charlie Calello.
