A collection of ballads dedicated to the departing summer by the diva Vicky! This 1968 album features mainly English songs by Vicky, a female singer from Greece who is well-known in Japan for her big hit "Koi wa mizuiro" (Love is a misty color).The songs include "Le Soleil A Quitte Ma Ma Maison (The Shining Sun)", which was released as a single coupled with "Koi wa Mizuiro (Love Is Water Color)" from "Free Again", which is known for Barbra Streisand's singing, "Somethings Gotten Hold Of My Heart", which is a Roger Cook / Roger Greenaway work, and "My House (Mein Haus)", which is the B-side of the single "White Cross". Somethings Gotten Hold Of My Heart" by Roger Cook/Roger Greenaway, "My House (Mein Haus)", which was included on the B-side of the single "White Cross" in Japan, and "Summertime", a cover of a standard that attracts listeners with its majestic singing and the climax in the latter half. The album also includes "White House (Casa Bianca)," which was released as a single in Japanese at the time. The Japanese version of "White House (Casa Bianca)" is included as a bonus track. Includes obi commentary.
