This is a reissue of the classic Swingin' London album produced by Mick Jagger. The sound pattern of Andrew Oldham and the diva who Mick was eagerly awaiting her debut is a lush masterpiece (1st) that harmoniously blends soul and rock at a high level. The three songs by Mick, including M-6, written by Cat Stevens and later covered by Rod Stewart, are highly acclaimed today for the charm of her vocals. M-1 backed by Small Faces, M-3 by Barry Mann, Cynthia Wells, and Phil Spector, and M-7, a representative song of Northern Soul, are also excellent, and the entire album is an unquestionable miracle. Bonus track is the B-side of M-12. Includes obi commentary, domestic distribution specs, imported edition commentary by Masaru Konishi.
