Released in 1970 by the Mothers of Invention, led by rock's genius Frank Zappa, this album was created from unreleased material including tracks from Zappa's 1969 solo album "Hot Rats." It stands as the final album released under the Mothers of Invention name. This album is often compared to "Burnt Weeny Sandwich," released the same year under similar circumstances. Yet it stands apart with its aggressive live performances, Little Richard cover, spoken word by then-Little Feat member Lowell George, a track dedicated to Eric Dolphy, and the deluge of noise that arrives at the climax.
