This EP "cocoon" contains a series of singles from "Ghost Grace" and "Carte" after the 2nd full album "HUMAN", while further expanding the context of alternative/post-rock. The pursuit of alternative pop music, which Kamano set forth in HUMAN, was carried over into the songs "Total" and "Chrysalis," which expanded the context of post-rock and alternative music. The song "Prelude," which takes a classical and contemporary approach, one of Kamano's roots, shows a new direction for Kamano himself. The various approaches, from the heavy-handed electronic sound of "Ghost Grace" to the poetry reading of "Carte," seem to have gone beyond the realm of experimentation and become established as a new way of expression for Kamano himself. While Kamano continues to release works that pursue the possibilities of the voice, his recent proximity to pop music has steadily deepened the overall track makeup of his music, which is also a must-hear. Now Kamano is once again a chrysalis, wriggling around in a cocoon of vivid colors. A new work that foreshadows further new developments in the future has been born.The album is performed by Sohei Mishima (cinema staff), GOTO (Reiatsu, DALLJUB STEP CLUB, etc.), An Suhara, Atsuko Hatano strings, Wataru Sato (Gecko & Tokage Parade), "Chrysalis" is written by Kunimitsu Takahashi (osterreich), mixed by Ayaka Toki, mastered by Takeo Kira, and jacket photography and artwork by Kazuki Sugawara, a strong lineup of musicians Kamano trusts. The album was produced by a strong team that Kamano trusts, including Takeo Kira for the lyrics, Ayaka Toki for the mixing, Kazuki Sugawara for the cover photography and artwork, and Kazuki Sugawara for the cover.
