A harmony of fading sadness and inner serenity. The Four Seasons" by Irina Medjieva, who sings Russian lyricism wistfully, is a long-awaited collection of Tchaikovsky's works. The Four Seasons" is one of Tchaikovsky's most famous piano works, lyrically depicting the nature and life of the Russian year (12 months). It also includes popular pieces such as "June: The Boat Song," "October: Autumn Song," and "November: Troika. This is Medjieva's first recording of the entire "Four Seasons," and her interpretation of the performance is as excellent as one would expect. As usual, she conveys the charms of the works in a straightforward manner with her usual persuasive and straightforward approach, devoid of any superfluous feelings. The unique "generosity" and old-fashioned tone of the orchestra beautifully evokes the poetic atmosphere of 19th century Russia, and the details of the works are richly nuanced and polished. The four pieces on the disc are also full of beautiful melancholy and nostalgia. This is a blissful disc in which one can fully enjoy the essence of Russian pianism. From the liner notes: "Even so, it is rare to hear a sound as good as this nowadays. The same is true of the performance interpretation. Irina's playing is the opposite of the nervousness that is so prevalent these days.In this album, I feel that I have long since heard the splendor of history and tradition that transcends the "individual.
