The new album 2025 by the new generation of French electro-avant-garde singer-songwriters, Léonie Pernet, is finally ready! Co-produced by Jean-Sylvain Leguic of Juviniles, with guest appearances by popular singer Clara Izzet of Tout-U-Tard! Léonie Pernet started his career as a member of Yuksek's live band and debuted with a single on the famous electronic label Kill the DJ. He is expected to be the next breakout artist in the current French music scene. Following "Le Cirque de Consolation" (2021), which transcended the boundaries of dance and rock and attracted attention in various fields, the long-awaited new album is finally completed! The album was inspired by a trip to his paternal roots in Niger and an encounter with a collection of poems by resistance poet René Char. The songs and compositions express his wish for a world without borders, and his feelings for those who have been pushed to the margins of society and forgotten. The first single "Reparer le monde," an atmospheric trip-hop song, features backing vocals by Clara Izze, a popular singer from the long-established French indie group "Tout-U-Tard.The second single "Paris-Brazzaville," which exploded with Perrne's trademark style, was the first to be featured on Radio France and became the talk of the town. The second single, "Paris-Brazzaville," was quickly featured on Radio France and was a big hit. The one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-box sound that painstakingly weaves together synths, strings, African and Arab percussive elements, left-field edges, French pop, and many other elements, again successfully shatters genre barriers! Co-produced with Jean-Sylvain Leguic of the popular electro act Juviniles, this album is released on InFine, one of France's most discerning labels. The striking cover photo is by New York visual artist Delphine Diallo.
