This is the first release from London experimental band Adult Jazz in eight years. A one-of-a-kind sound that melds elements from folk, jazz, chamber music to dance-music grooves! Owen Pallett and Maxwell Sterling also guest on the album. Adult Jazz is a band of four musicians from Leeds, England, now based in London, who formed in 2013 and have released one album, "Gist Is" (2014), and one EP, "Earrings Off!" (2016/Tri Angle), (2016/Tri Angle), and has earned a cult-like props for its one-of-a-kind, genre-crossing style. Their latest full-length album, "So Sorry, So Slow," is now complete. The first single, "Suffer One," features string arrangements by Owen Pallett, a sought-after arranger for everyone from Frank Ocean to Taylor Swift. The modern-classical but unapologetically vibrant "Marquee" features Maxwell Sterling on double bass, while "Suffer One" features Owen Pallett on strings, a talent that has been sought after by everyone from Frank Ocean to Taylor Swift.This one is also worth listening to! Folk, jazz, and chamber music elements, danceable grooves and polyrhythms, Harry's soft and deep voice, analog textures, and experimental tension ...... are all meticulously layered to create a unique atmosphere.
