The latest Japanese ambient reissue project by Swiss label WRWTFWW! The WRWTFWW label, which has reissued various Japanese ambient and environmental music acts in the past, has now chosen Motohiko Hamase to reissue his work. Inspired by John Cage, Jon Hassell, Brian Eno, and the then-nascent house music and techno, Hamase created a masterpiece in 1993, "Technodrome," a cross between ambient and club music that needs to be heard now more than ever. Technodrome" is a cross between ambient and club music, a masterpiece that needs to be heard today. This is a reissue of the 1993 album "Technodrome" by Motohiko Hamase, a jazz bassist who has worked with Isao Suzuki, Yasuaki Shimizu, and many other famous jazz musicians, and who has recently broken new ground in collaboration with Naruyoshi Kikuchi. The original was released on Newsic, the label division of Spiral/Wacoal Art Center in Omotesando, Tokyo. This reissue is by the Swiss WRWTFWW label, which has produced many world reissues of Japanese ambient masterpieces by Midori Takada, Satoshi Ashikawa, Yutaka Hirose and Yoshiro Ojima, among others.Inspired by John Cage, Jon Hassell, Brian Eno, as well as house music and techno, which were still in their infancy at the time, the album is a cross between ambient and club music, a masterpiece that needs to be heard now more than ever.
