WRWTFWW label, which has been reissuing various Japanese ambient and environmental music acts, has now chosen Motohiko Hamase to reissue his masterpiece "#Notes of Forestry", originally released on the Wacoal Art Center label in 1988. The album is a unique masterpiece that intricately combines the crystalline feel, synths and pianos, dynamic bass lines, minimalist mood, and sound puzzles of the 80s. Jazz bassist Motohiko Hamase, who in recent years has been breaking new ground with Naruyoshi Kikuchi, released the ambient masterpiece "#Notes of Forestry" ("Scales of Forestry") on Newsic, the label division of Spiral/Wacoal Art Center in Omotesando, Tokyo, in 1988. Notes of Forestry), a reissue project by the WRWTFWW label. The album features Satsuki Shibano on piano and Yasunori Yamaguchi on percussion. The album is a unique masterpiece that intricately combines the crystalline feel of the 80's, synths, piano, lively bass lines, minimalist moods, and sound puzzles. The Swiss WRWTFWW label was a pioneer in introducing Japanese ambient to the world with the reissue of Midori Takada's "The Other Side of the Mirror.Since then, he has established an unshakable position by consistently working on the reissues of masterpieces by Satoshi Ashikawa, Yutaka Hirose, and Yoshiro Ojima.
