City music compilation selected by CUNIMOND TAKIGUCHI (RYUSENKEI) The fifth compilation CD, an analog LP edition of the "CITY MUSIC TOKYO" series, which has been released one after another by major labels, is now available exclusively at TOWER RECORPO. The theme of this compilation is "topology," selected by Kunimonde Takiguchi (RYUSENKEI), a creator of original city music and the originator of the "city pop" rediscovery. topology is a form or space that can be transformed (stretched or bent) and still retain some form. Topology is a geometrical term that focuses on the properties that are maintained even when some form or space is deformed (stretched or bent). The concept is that the nature of music changes with the times, but the essence of CITY POP/CITY MUSIC remains the same, and CUNIMOND TAKIGUCHI curates works in progress from his point of view. The theme of the series is "Tokyo" and "Urban", and the 10 songs selected are perfect for personal listening, driving, and night to morning/evening to early night scenes, and cannot be experienced in a playlist.
