Rattlesnake Dream" is a self-produced and home-recorded album, mixed by John Anderson (Andy Shoaf, Aiden Knight) and mastered by Philip Shaw Bova (Father John Misty, Feist) for mastering. The process of making the album was long and at times difficult, but it was an accomplishment of self-production. Themes of seasonal depression, regret, and the rigors of prairie life are highlighted by the band's signature guitar-oriented arrangements and creative songwriting.
