Straight to the music Saxophonist Kento Mogi releases his first album, centered around the works that support his identity. His programming, which ranges from hidden masterpieces to popular works that are frequently performed, is not only the essence of his life, but also offers a full appreciation of the depth and height of the classical saxophone. Born in Gunma, Japan. Born in Gunma Prefecture. Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music, Toho Gakuen School of Music, and completed the post-graduate course at Toho Gakuen School of Music. Graduated with first prize from the highest degree at the Sergy-Pontoise Regional Conservatory of Music (France). First prize in the wind and percussion section of the 9th JILA Music Competition. He was a semifinalist in the 22nd Japan Wind and Percussion Competition. Third prize in the wind and percussion section of the 1st Yokohama International Music Competition. Semifinalist at the 28th Japan Winds and Percussion Competition. 2nd Prize at the 30th Rondeau National Music Competition (France), 1st Prize in the Chamber Music Division at the 87th Léopold Bellin International Music Competition (France). Semifinalist at the 34th Japan Winds and Percussion Competition. Performed Ibert's small concerto with the Palette Chamber Orchestra. Performed Spark's Carnival with the Symphonic Winds of Toho Gakuen School of Music. Performed Glazunov's Concerto with Grauben Woodwind Ensemble.Performed in the Toho Gakuen School Graduation Concert, Saxophone Society Newcomer Concert, and Rainbow 21. Debut recitals in Tokyo (Ongaku no Tomo Hall) and Gunma. Performed "reborn" and "Hommage ~Dedicated to the Defaye Quartet~" on alto saxophone with Saxidea, which is led by Kenichiro Muto. Studied saxophone under Kaoru Kurosawa, Kenichiro Muto, and Jean-Yves Fourmeau. Studied chamber music under Kenichiro Muto and Marlies Fremeau. He is the alto saxophonist of the Camellia Saxophone Quartet and concertmaster of the Wind Ensemble Grauben. In addition to his performance activities, he is currently a part-time instructor at Toho Gakuen School of Music, Toho College of Music, Takasaki Keizai University High School Art Course, and Toho Gakuen School of Music for Children. <She is also a part-time teacher at Toho Gakuen School of Music, Toho College of Music, Takasaki Keizai University High School Art Course, and Toho Gakuen School of Music for Children. Second Prize at the 6th Ibaraki Prefecture Student Piano Competition. 3rd Prize at the 1st Higashi-Kanto Student Piano Competition. The 17th Young Artists' Competition, highest prize in the double bass division. The 13th Japan Ensemble Competition, wind and percussion piano duo division, Best Performer Award and Also Publisher's Award. First Prize and Journalist's Prize in the Duo Division of the 14th Osaka International Music Competition.Second Prize in the accompaniment category, Asia International Music Competition 2013. She won the Excellent Accompanist Award at the 9th Yokohama International Music Competition. After graduating from the Tokyo College of Music, she completed a course in accompaniment at the Tokyo College of Music. She has also been involved in many performances as an opera chorepetitore. After working as a performance assistant at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music and as an assistant at Ferris University College of Music, she is currently working as a freelance accompanist.
