Description:
This is the first solo work by Hoimi Chiaki of the Shinjuku 2-chome drag queen diva unit "Happo Fubijin", who teamed up with lyricist Neko Oikawa to create "Reiwa Uta-you". As the youngest member of "Happo Fubijin," a diva unit from Shinjuku 2-chome consisting of three drag queens, she has been actively performing at various events including Tokyo Rainbow Pride, live performances, dinner shows, and media appearances. This is the first solo work by Hoimi. She is the person behind the song "Happo-Fujin" and has written lyrics for "Neon Genesis Evangelion" theme song "Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis," Wink's "Lonely Tropical Fish," "Ai ga Stoppama" and many other artists' works, and is an influencer whose X posts are often featured in sports newspapers as articles on kotatsu (a Japanese word for "kotatsu.") This is the second project produced by Neko Oikawa, a hit lyricist and cross-dressing singer. The concept of this album, which follows the first album "renaitre" by Kaya, is "2038 Japanese Song". The songs were written for this project by powerful and gorgeous composers (Ohki Niwa, Takashi Toshimi, Masato Sugimoto, John Kurosaki, Yuka Kawamura, and Keizo Nakanishi), and of course, Oikawa is in charge of the lyrics. The lyrics were written by Oikawa, and the elegant sound of the young arranger is accompanied by the full development of "the song" of the 2025 era.
