Tokyo Doublereed Honpo" is a double reed quartet formed by young oboe and bassoon players active mainly in Tokyo. This album is a live recording of the 3rd concert held in August 2022. This album features a variety of well-known wind band pieces. Arrangements were made by member Wataru Nagayama. In addition to oboe and bassoon, oboe d'amore, bass oboe, and English horn appear on this recording, and the color and virtuosity of the instruments create a full and beautiful sound and music. The "Armenian Dance" is a masterpiece, and the beautiful "wind ripple" music. You will be amazed at the high level of skill of each member. Please listen to the masterpieces of brass band played only with double reeds. (C)RS
