Sugaria" (Sugar+Ria), now a popular marimba piece, was written by Eric Samu in the image of his student "Ria Ideda," and was performed for the first time in the world by Ria Ideda. The original "Ria Ideta" finally recorded the piece on CD after many years of keeping the performance under wraps. In addition to all the movements of "Sugaria," the CD also includes a cover of the piece arranged by Ria Izuda, who is a prodigy at arranging. This is an album to be enjoyed as a new piece of marimba music that is rarely available in the repertoire, and as a new way to enjoy a masterpiece with beautiful marimba sound. Studied at the Paris Conservatoire and won the first prize at the 1st International Marimba Competition in Paris. Based in Berlin, she has performed with many of the world's top artists, including Emmanuelle Payu (flute), Paul Mayet (clarinet), and Eric Le Sage (piano), and continues to seek new possibilities in marimba technique. His delicate and pleasantly shimmering performance overturns conventional notions of the percussion instrument from its very foundations. His performances are full of subtlety and pleasantly shimmering sounds that completely overturn preconceived notions of what a percussion instrument can be.Finally, he began performing in Japan in earnest.
