This work celebrates the unshakable achievements of the great Black beauties (African-American female artists) who built the core of the rock 'n' roll frenzy and lit the flame for the soul music that followed. Songs known through Elvis Presley (M-01), Jerry Lee Lewis (M-18), and even those that became the foundation for Little Richard and Muddy Waters' signature tunes (M-05, M-17) demonstrate that the very "prototype" of rock 'n' roll was created by their hands.
