Timeless, relaxing jazz from the meeting of Eddie Higgins and Scott Hamilton. Originally, Higgins emerged from the Chicago jazz scene, and from his soulful playing to his vocal accompaniment, he has successively developed various elements of "adult jazz. In particular, his various releases on "Venus Records" in the past few years have made fans aware of new aspects of Higgins' music, and have further expanded his following. Here, Scott Hamilton, who was once regarded as "the second coming of Ben Webster" in the 70's, added a new "feeling" to the classic songs that have been played many times before with his "modern swing" style. He added new "thoughts" to the classic songs that have been performed many times before with a "modern swing" flavor. Among the songs, the works that are rarely heard such as "It's a Lonesome Old Town" and "When the Sun Comes Out," which are not covered in dirt, conveyed a fresh brilliance, including their tunes. The last song, Harry Warren's "The Last of Us," is a great example of a song that is not often heard. The final track, Harry Warren's "You Are My Everything," is a light, sunny spring tune that closes the album on a high note. It is a wonderful performance that could have been the opener of the album.
