Description:
A new diva from the Swedish jazz world, which has produced many beautiful divas, has appeared on the scene. Her name is Vivian Buxzek, and she made her debut in 2003 with her debut album "Can't We Be Friend's? Then in 2007, she released "Straight From My Heart," produced with popular Scandinavian artists such as Jesper Schiro, which won her many fans in Japan. As the title suggests, this album is dedicated to the historical giants of jazz who have inspired and influenced her so much, and she sings their masterpieces with outstanding vocals as well. Pianist Claes Krona, who accompanies her, is a Swedish jazz master who has played with Putte Uijkman and others for many years and has been a great supporter of Vivienne for many years. Andreas Uberg, who has been attracting attention in Sweden and the U.S. in recent years as a guitar virtuoso, plays on three songs as a guest player, and his brilliant performance enlivens the work. Vivian's voice has an urban sophistication, crispness, and sense of style. Her somewhat boyish voice is a good match for the vocalists, and she sings many of the Jazz Giants' best and most difficult songs with a real lightness and flair. Vivienne also arranged 8 of the 11 songs (except for tracks 2, 5, and 9) and mixed down the recordings, bringing her abundant talent to life on this album.
