Following the previously released "Christmas Oratorio," the Bavarian Radio Choir and Peter Dijkstra's J.S. Bach (1685-1750) work is the famous "Matthew Passion. The orchestra is the Concerto Cologne, and the evangelist is the young tenor Julian Pregardien. Aside from the excellent singing of the soloists, the wonderful ensemble of the Concerto Cologne will shed new light on the "Matthew Passion" and make all people question the form of prayer in our time.
