His first new work in five years is this collaborative album featuring close friends.The lineup is truly impressive, featuring Mayumi Ikemizu (formerly of Bridge, now of Three Berry Ice Cream), Hideki Kaji (formerly of Bridge, now very active as a solo artist), Megumi Mashiro (well known from Rotten Hats and Hicksville), Osamu Shimada (very active with Swinging Popsicle and The Caraway), and Gota Nishidera (also active as Nona Reeves and as a solo artist). It's also a fascinating compilation album featuring collaborations on each song by Martin Nelte of Brideshead, a famous German indie pop band from the same era, Mark Cohen of The Shinning Hour, and Per Sunding of Eggstone, a key figure in Swedish pop. The design is by Atsushi Ito of AIRS, and the illustrations are by Ikuno Nema, resulting in extremely catchy artwork!
