The TV anime "Girls' Opera Revue Starlight" aired in 2018 to great acclaim. The story follows nine "stage girls" who attend Seisho Music Academy, one of the most prestigious drama schools in Japan, aiming to become future stage actresses. They participate in mysterious auditions and battle in the name of revue in order to grab the top star's position. This is a re-produced compilation with new cuts as well as gems of famous scenes, taking on the challenge from a new angle. A story that leads to a new theatrical version! --Nana Ohba. Student of the 99th class of Seisho Music Academy, attendance number 15. In junior high school, she was in solitude in a drama club all by herself, but at this school, for the first time, she learned the true joy of creating a stage performance. The 99th classmates joined hands with each other, aiming for the same stage. The moment the curtain fell, she felt the applause and the trembling satisfaction of the audience. A sparkle like a burning jewel. Once again, those happy days like a shining rainbow... Stuck in that dazzling moment, Nana participated in a mysterious audition organized by Giraffe. As a successful candidate, she hopes to perform "the 99th Seisho Matsuri, a reenactment of that one year" on the stage of destiny. And so begins again, "that one year".Nana puts all of her blossoming talent into "reenacting" her dazzling days. But she still does not know. No stage is exactly the same. There is no stage that never ends. The curtain rises on the revolving dance beyond the repeated reenactments. Includes a 80-page booklet of setting materials and a bonus CD (containing new songs by the 99 groups). Comes in an anime-drawn three-sided back box with a digi-jacket newly drawn by Mebachi.
