Mugi Furukawa, who is also a supporting member of cero, has released her new 3rd album "Xin" on LP after 4 years! Influenced by João Gilberto's performance style, Mugi Furukawa, a singer-songwriter who began performing as a soloist and is also a supporting member of cero, has released her third album on LP! The album, titled "Xin," which means "belief," "letter," or "news" in Chinese, features guest musicians including Mami Kakudo, Mei Inoue, Shin Rhythm, Toshiwen Zeng (DSPS), Wakana Ikeda, Ryo Sugimoto, Kanoh Tajima, and Shuntaro Oishi, and arrangements by Hiroki Chiba, Toshiya Gomi (Kiwokuza), Yuji Tanaka and Masashi Sekiguchi.The arrangements and melodies are carefully thought out so that the vocal harmonies of Mami Kakudo and Furukawa can live on, and the slow and steady rhythms of bossa nova and jazz style on the A-4 "Why feat. The album contains a collection of songs produced in the Corona disaster, such as B-2 "Lights (Xin mix)," a pop song that reflects his strong roots while linking to the current US indie pop music, as well as songs that express his feelings as if he were writing a letter to his friends, family, lover, or himself. This is a gem of a piece, in which elements of Brazilian music, which is his roots, and the various musical genres he has absorbed in his activities to date shine through in tranquil and carefully arranged pieces.
