Janne Tateno's solo violin album. Janne Tateno, a violinist who calls Finland and Japan home, releases an album of unaccompanied works. The album features works by fellow Finnish composers Nordgren, Englund, and Khachaturjan on modern violin, and Bach's Partita No. 2 on baroque violin. Englund was one of the leading Finnish composers of the 20th century, and this recording is one of his few solo violin works. This is an introspective work, composed in slow and slow movement. Khachaturian's work begins with a quiet, contemplative section reminiscent of the music of medieval bards, then goes through a superbly technical section, and then disappears again into tranquility. Finland's Nordgren's piece is based on the Karelian "weeping song," which uses microtones to express the shimmering of grief. The music spun out of tranquility seems to speak for the grief and lamentation of the people and evokes a deep sense of empathy. The recording is also noteworthy for its ability to capture the rich resonance of the music. The latter part of the album is Bach's Partita No. 2 for solo violin.Here, Tateno switched from violin to baroque violin, and we were reminded of the universality of Bach's music that transcends differences in instruments and time periods, and Janne Tateno's performance seemed to sublimate and give comfort and strength to the current world situation and the various difficulties we face. and strength to the world and the difficulties we face today.
