Written by Shizuka Oishi. Starring Yuriko Yoshitaka. The main character is Murasaki Shikibu, the woman who wrote "The Tale of Genji," a bestseller that transcends the millennium. The story of Hikaru-kun, or Prince Hikaru, is driven by her hidden passion, unparalleled imagination, and her love for a man, Fujiwara no Michinaga. This is a story of a woman who lived with her unchanging love in an ever-changing world. The music is composed by Yumi Fuyuno, who has created popular works such as NHK's Saturday period drama "Ashi Girl" and the TV series "Scarlett. The theme music is performed by Kyohei Tanda (piano), Tomoyuki Asakawa (harp), and Junichi Hirokami (conductor) of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. In addition to the five songs from "Taiga Kiko," the complete set of all 170 songs that brilliantly color the drama will be included in this collector's item.
