Cordovas, the Nashville Americana band featuring acclaimed songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Fastman and guitarist/vocalist Luca Soria, releases their fifth studio album. Their soulful harmonies and poetic lyrics, often compared to The Band, The Grateful Dead, and CS&N, combined with a unique sound crafted between Mexico and Nashville, are truly one-of-a-kind. Featuring guest appearances by longtime collaborator Kamasi Washington and numerous other Nashville heavyweights. Cordovas was formed in Nashville in 2011 by Joe Fastman. Born in North Carolina in 1979, Fastman moved to California in the 2000s and began his solo career. He won the 2001 LA Music Award and made his major label debut in 2003 with the album The War of Women on Atlantic Records. The album received high praise, and he served as O.A. (Opening Act) for artists like Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson. Starting in 2005, he became the house band leader for NBC's TV show 'Last Call with Carson Daly'.Members included Kamasi Washington and Thundercat. After the show ended in 2009, he focused on solo work, releasing albums like 2010's 'El Porto' and 2014's 'Love Bravely'. Concurrently, he formed Cordovas with Luca Soria and others in 2011, releasing their debut album 'Cordovas'. He subsequently signed with ATO Records, releasing the highly acclaimed albums That Santa Fe Channel in 2018, Destiny Hotel in 2020, and The Rose of Aces in 2023.
